What service features are covered by the Activation Guarantee?
We cover all service features that are available to you as a subscriber, that are also features that were incorporated into the device you are activating. This includes, cable internet, DSL internet, and telephone service.
*Please note that some US-Based service providers only allow certain features to be activated on a non-rental modem. Time Warner Cable / Spectrum, for example does not allow the telephone to be activated on non-rental units, they require you to keep their modem on your account in addition to yours. They do not charge a rental fee for this as long as your owned modem has the telephone option built in.
How do I file an Activation Guarantee Claim?
Please contact us if you have problems activating. Our US-Based call center representatives are trained on all of the issues that typically come up during activation. They have helped hundreds of other customers get their modem online without a hitch, and can sniff out the need for a replacement or a different model number in just a few minutes.
